The purpose of the Professional Fitness Program is to equip students with the knowledge,abilities and hands-on skills needed to start successful careers as Certified Personal Trainers. Fitness education is key to capitalizing on the ever-expanding health and fitness market. Personal training schools are opening all over the place due to this demand. But not all personal fitness training is created equal.

What to expect as a student
As a student, you will learn to perform a variety of exercise-related assessments and tests. You will be able to design safe and effective exercise programs, implement safe weight loss/gain programs, and be proficient in a variety of business-related skills. These skills will prepare you for work in a fitness center, corporate gym or your own personal training business. Take advantage of our extensive collection of fitness equipment. It ranges from free-weight equipment to treadmills and elliptical machines to Nautilus Nitro machines as you advance in the program.

Las Vegas Boot Camp
The personal fitness training curriculum includes a week-long, intensive boot camp in Las Vegas, Nevada. A spokesperson will make an appearance during Boot Camp to include a hands-on training session and seminar. PFI reserves the right to substitute our spokesperson with comparable fitness celebrities in the event of a scheduling conflict. While celebrity endorsements and participation in the PFI Boot camp is exciting, the emphasis of the boot camp is to prepare the student for NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) and/or the ACE (American Council on Exercise) Certification examination. While certification is encouraged, it is not a graduation requirement of the Allied Health Careers Personal Fitness Trainer Program.
